67-Year-Old Woman Dies in Pedestrian Accident While Running
Fullerton, CA (November 16, 2023) – A heartbreaking incident unfolded on Tuesday at approximately 5:11 p.m. when a 67-year-old woman lost her life in a pedestrian accident on Brookhurst Road at Oak Avenue.
Nissan Rogue Strikes Woman Jogging As She Was Crossing Brookhurst Road
Fullerton police officers reported that the fatal pedestrian accident occurred under circumstances that remain unclear. The 67-year-old female pedestrian was running eastbound from the southwest corner of the intersection across Brookhurst Road when tragedy struck. While a southbound GMC Sierra managed to stop in time, a northbound Nissan Rogue collided with the woman, propelling her into the intersection. The impact proved fatal, leading to the pedestrian’s untimely death.
As of now, officials have not released the identity of the victim involved in this tragic crash.
