Man Flees After Striking Spectator At Street Takeover On 17th Street and King Street
Santa Ana, CA (August 17, 2023) – A distressing incident unfolded last week on Thursday evening when a spectator sustained injuries during a street takeover event at the intersection of West 17th Street and North King Street in Santa Ana.
Street Takeover Took A Turn When A Spectator Was Struck And The Driver Fled
Around 10:30 p.m. on August 10, an unauthorized street takeover event transpired, characterized by a gathering of numerous vehicles converging to partake in daring stunts and reckless behavior.
The street takeover, which spanned approximately 30 minutes, took a perilous turn when a vehicle struck a bystander at the intersection. Rather than remaining at the scene, the involved vehicles hastily departed before the arrival of Santa Ana police.
