Crash in Hancock Park Area Kills One Man, Injures Another In Los Angeles, CA
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 28, 2022) – Late at night on Thursday in Los Angeles, a crash in the Hancock Park neighborhood killed a man and injured another. The October 27 crash occurred on South Rossmore Avenue in the 100 block.
The time was roughly 11:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
A vehicle–described as a Mitsubishi, white in color–had been traveling on Beverly Boulevard and heading south.
For reasons that are not known, the vehicle went out of the driver’s control, crashed into a number of vehicles that were parked, and smashed into a tree.
The force of the crash threw the passenger from the Mitsubishi.
The driver was trapped in the wreckage.
Responders pronounced the driver deceased at the crash site. He was identified only as in his thirties. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
Responders transported the passenger to a hospital in the area. He suffered injuries that were described as serious, and his condition critical.
He was also identified as in his thirties. Reports do not state his name and city of residence.
