Crash on SR-125 Injures Construction Worker in San Carlos Area of San Diego, CA
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 14, 2022) – Late at night on Tuesday in San Diego, a crash in the San Carlos area on State Route 125 injured a construction worker. The September 13 crash occurred close to where Navajo Road is located, on the southbound side of the roadway.
The time was roughly 11:00 p.m., according to authorities.
The construction worker was working near a trailer that had a large flashing arrow sign, reports say. As it was passing by the construction area, a vehicle–described as an SUV–hit the trailer with the arrow sign.
According to people who witnessed the crash, reports say, even though the construction worker dove out of the path of the crashing vehicle, the force of the crash sent the trailer to strike the worker.
Responders transported the patient to a hospital. The patient suffered injuries that were described as serious.
The person’s current condition is not known.
The identity of the victim–including name, age, gender, and city of residence–is not known from reports.
The driver’s identity has also not been reported.
