Woman Killed When Vehicle Smashes into House in Moreno Valley, CA

MORENO VALLEY, CA (April 14, 2022) – Keonia Selena Brown was identified by family members as the passenger who was killed when the SUV she was traveling in smashed into a house in Moreno Valley. The April 11 crash occurred on Indian Street.

The time was roughly 11:15 p.m., authorities said.

Reports say a vehicle–described as an SUV–went off the roadway, for reasons that are not known, and smashed into fence at a house. The SUV destroyed two vehicles parked in the driveway, and crashed into the house, according to a resident of the house, Mary Helen Navarro.

Responders worked to free the two occupants of the SUV. The passenger traveling in the SUV died at the crash site, authorities said.

She was identified by family members as Brown, 40 years old.

Responders transported the driver to the hospital. The types of injuries he suffered have not been reported. His name, age, and city of residence are not known from reports.

The house Navarro was living in had significant damage and, according to reports, it will be red-tagged.

Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened.
