Thousands if not hundreds of customers including children could have been victims of Gamiz who hid cameras in the North Hollywood Sears. People are in disgust that this peeping tom and his voyeurisms went unstopped for four months. A Sears’s spokesman said that loss prevention personnel discovered the spying equipment on a routine store sweep. An investigation was launched to see what was going on.

Alejandro Gamiz, a 27-year old male worked for Sears as a maintenance man for over seven years. He admitted that in about the last three years of employment he placed anywhere from 20-60 cameras around Sears bathrooms and changing areas to spy on women.
Sears employees and customers are furious with the company whom the said knew about the problem for four months before putting an end to it. Victims do not know what the creeper caught on camera, if it was their full body naked or just video of the body below the neck.

Several employees are considering legal action against the company because they allowed the use not just one hidden camera but more than 20 hidden cameras in their facilities.

Gamiz was arrested on April 12, 2012 at about 6:30 p.m. for allegedly hiding cameras behind the walls of the Sears store located at 12121 Victory Boulevard. He was booked on suspicion of Burglary for the filming of unsuspecting women at Los Angeles County Jail. He was released after posting a $20,000 bail.
