Pismo Beach Store on Price Street Struck and Damaged by Vehicle
PISMO BEACH, CA (February 26, 2021) – Early in the evening on Tuesday in Pismo Beach, a vacant store was struck and damaged by a vehicle. The February 23 incident occurred on Price Street in the 1300 block.
The time was roughly 6:15 p.m., according to police.
A vehicle–described as a BMW, black in color–smashed into the vacant building, which had been a liquor store and gas station, according to reports.
It is not known if anyone was hurt in the crash. Reports do not say if the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The identity of the driver, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
According to reports, authorities took a person into custody, but reports do not say if anyone was charged.
Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened, and what factors may have contributed to it. They are collecting details and information.
The owner of the property has not been identified in reports.
