Crash on West Olympic Blvd. in West Los Angeles Kills One Driver and Injures Teen Driver
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 18, 2021) – Late in the afternoon on Wednesday, a crash in West Los Angeles killed a driver and injured a teen driver. The February 17 incident occurred in the vicinity of Overland Avenue and West Olympic Boulevard.
The time was roughly 5:15 p.m., according to the Los. Angeles Fire Department.
Two vehicles-which have not been described–collided, but the manner in which the crash happened has not been described. The line of travel of each vehicle prior to the crash is not known from reports.
Responders arrived and worked to extricate one of the drivers from the wreckage of a vehicle. Responders pronounced her deceased at the crash site. Her identity has not been reported.
Responders transported the person who had been driving the other vehicle to a local hospital. The injuries he suffered were described as moderate.
He was identified only as in his teens. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
Investigators are working to understand the circumstances and factors related to the crash. They are in the process of collecting information.
