Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Rancho Cucamonga
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (July 10, 2019) – Harry Blanco was killed in a crash in Rancho Cucamonga on the 210 Freeway on Thursday. The July 4 incident occurred in an area close to Day Creek Boulevard, and to the east of it.
The time was roughly 10:22 p.m., according to Jesus Garcia. Garcia is a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol.
Reports say Blanco had been riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, heading west on the freeway. For reasons that are not known, Blanco’s motorcycle hit the rear of another vehicle, described as a Dodge Avenger. The impact threw Blanco from the motorcycle.
Responders arrived and pronounced Blanco deceased at the accident site. He was 65 years old and a resident of Alta Loma.
The person who had been driving the Dodge has not been identified in reports. It is not known if anyone else was in the vehicle when the incident occurred, and if anyone in that vehicle was hurt.
Investigators are working to understand the circumstances of the crash.
