Woman Sunbathing on Venice Beach was Struck and Injured by Police Vehicle
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 22, 2019) – A woman who had been sunbathing on Venice Beach was hit by a police vehicle and injured on Sunday afternoon. The April 21 incident occurred on Ocean Front Walk in the 1000 block.
The time was roughly a bit after 2:10 p.m., according to Margaret Stewart. Stewart is a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Reports say respondents transported the woman to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were described as not life threatening. The woman’s identity, including her name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
