Collision on 210 Freeway in Lake View Terrace Causes Two Rollovers; Injures Four People
LAKE VIEW TERRACE, CA (September 17, 2018) – Four people suffered injuries on Sunday when two vehicles collided on the 210 Freeway in Lake View Terrace and rolled over.
The September 16 accident occurred in the lanes of the freeway that travel westbound, close to the 118 Freeway. The accident site was not far from where Lake View Terrace, Sylmar, and Pacoima meet, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The time was roughly 1:30 p.m.
Responders took one of the victims who had been stuck in the wreck to Mission Hills’ Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Alex Rubio said. Rubio is an officer with the California Highway Patrol.
The impact from the crash knocked a stoplight down. Officials had to close the 210 Freeway’s lanes.
No details were yet reported on the types of vehicles involved, the identities of the people, or types of injuries suffered.
Investigators are continuing their examination of the details of the collision to determine what casued it.
